Clindamycin!

How could it be that so close to the finish line I am faltering? In part, I think it is because I am still experiencing the fallout of last week. Oh, and Charlie has strep throat, so I'm pretty sure that that is what HaHa had, but I have to wait to get her blood test results back to know if my hypothesis is correct. Apparently, it's going around...

Wash your hands!

As I mentioned yesterday, HaHa is in some crazy PTSD state, so I have been in constant stress mode. And now, as I sit here I realize I must wake her in mere moments to pour two and a half teaspoons of clindamycin down her throat. Oh well, I guess it's time to wrap it up!

Outfit:

When I threw this on, I kept having that nagging feeling that I've worn it before. Of course, that's understandable seeing that I am 17 days away from the completion of One Closet, One Year!!!
In actuality, I wore almost the same exact thing, but it was my gray striped shirt that I wore with this skirt. So, I did NOT break my rule! Ha!

Two A.M.!

I'm back. I'm tired. I'm just hangin' up the phone after an-hour-and-a-half conversation with my Fresh friend, and it's 1:20 in the morning! She has to go to work in a few hours. And go to workout... What is she thinking?!

Actually, what am I thinking? I have to drive my mom to the airport in 4 hours. Okay. Maybe I need to get my pictures up and call it a day. Why am I such a procrastinator? Why? Why? Why?

Since I'm pressed for time, I will simply put up a few pictures from the last two New York days. One day soon, I promise to write a decent post!

Outfit:

Lace top: Hand me down from friend. I'm wearing it backwards for the second time.

Grey Tank: Urban Outfitters. It's at least 15 years old. I think I'll need a new one next year. It's starting to fray.

Jeans: Hand me down from cousin. Gap.

Shoes: Goodwill. Kensie Girl.

HaHa being the social butterfly that she appears to be. In the bottom picture she was saying"Hi" to the woman hawking sunglasses at the airport! The woman loved her. Of course!

PTC!

Today was parent-teacher conference day! Parent-teacher conferences are one of the few times I can blab about my kids without feeling lame or guilty. Other times include: being with other parents who are totally happy blabbing about kids, and, talking to CLOSE friends and relatives who are sincerely interested in hearing about my kids. Other than that, I make an effort to talk about other things. Like the new health care bill, for example. Just today I got into a debate with my aunt about it, and then I had a second discussion about it with a man at Richard's office. It is a very juicy topic that is sure to delight for some time to come. It will be very interesting seeing how it all plays out.

It is also Free Ice Cream Cone Day at Ben and Jerry's! If you are reading this on the east coast, I hope you already had your cone, because it ends at 8:00 p.m.! Richard is coming home early so that we can all go to Ben & Jerry's to celebrate this auspicious event!

Outfit:

I started with the shoes and worked my way up! I wasn't sure if it is kosher to wear white shoes at this point in the year, but I haven't worn these yet, and I thought I would like to take them for a spin!

Shoes:  Kenzie. I saw these at Goodwill, and immediately tried them on. They looked brand new and they were my size! They also had gold detail and were T-Straps, which I love.

Pants: From Cousin. Gap.

Cream Shirt (under blue): Old Navy.

Blue Shirt: emma & sam. I love the crochet detail.

White sweater: From Cousin. Merona. As soon as I took it off for photos, Hollis made a bee-line for it!
